YOUNGSTERS with disabilities and learning difficulties enjoyed taking part in a fishing lesson.
Qualified angling coach Warren White held a session for 15 young people at Darenth Fishing Complex, Darenth Hill, Dartford.
It was part of football club Charlton Athletic’s Community Scheme, which provides sporting activities for young people in south east London and Kent. Mr White, 46, said: “I think angling has a major role to play in opening opportunities for disabled people.
“It is a sport that you dont have to be fit to compete in, and with the right training the individual can progress and meet their own targets.”
