THREE teenagers accused of killing a Beckenham man in Trafalgar Square have been bailed.
Joel Alexander, aged 19, of Talbot Road, Thornton Heath, and two 17-year-old girls, from Penge and Thornton Heath, have been charged with the manslaughter of Ian Baynham.
All three appeared at West London Magistrates’ Court in Hammersmith yesterday (October 19) where the case was committed to the crown court.
The two girls are due to appear at the Old Bailey on February 15.
A date for Alexander’s appearance at the Old Bailey has yet to be agreed.
As part of their bail conditions, the trio must not contact each other and have been placed under curfew.
Alexander has also been ordered to surrender his passport.
Mr Baynham, of Gresham Road, Beckenham, was attacked outside the South African embassy on September 25.
The 62-year-old died last Tuesday (October 13) as a result of serious head injuries.
