WELL HILL: Blaze at warehouse near Chelsfield
FIREFIGHTERS battled a warehouse fire for more than 10 hours overnight.
Crews were called from Orpington, Biggin Hill, Swanley, Dartford, Westerham, Sevenoaks, Seal, Maidstone, Larkfield and Strood to the blaze which started at 9pm last night (October 15).
Homes near to the row of single storey warehouses were evacuated by police.
The fire was put out by 7.30am today and firefighters are expected to return to the scene this morning to investigate what caused the blaze in Rock Hill, Well Hill, near Chelsfield.
