YOUNG Irish dancers entertained a crowd of almost 200 while raising more than £2,000 for a charity fighting breast cancer.
Marie Martin School of Irish Dancing held a fun day at St. Anselm’s Primary School in Littlebrook Manorway, Dartford, earlier this month to generate money for Breast Cancer Campaign.
The dancing school, which is based at St Vincent's Church Hall, Dartford, has around 70 members aged from four to 19 who wore pink on the day to take part in events including lessons for beginners.
School principal Marie Martin said: “There is not a family around that has not been touched by breast cancer in some way way, so we were happy to raise money and awareness for the charity.”
