PATIENTS will be able to see GPs seven days a week thanks to the opening of a new health centre.

Staff at the Cator Medical Centre (CMC) will provide an 8am to 8pm service 365 days a year at the Beckenham Beacon hospital site, Croydon Road, Beckenham.

Registered patients will be able to see doctors as well as get travel vaccinations and blood tests in the surgery.

It opens for patients on October 1 and will be officially opened by the mayor Councillor Douglas Auld on Thursday.

CMC was set up by Bromley Primary Care Trust after the Department of Health instructed every trust to make at least one GP-led health centre in their area.
