CYCLISTS can take advantage of some organised bike rides over the rest of the month.
Residents are invited to gather at Cutty Sark Gardens at 7.45am on September 25 for a friendly ride to St Paul's cathedral.
A quick safety check will be made on all bikes and less confident cyclists will be buddied up with more experienced riders.
Meanwhile a bike ride for women-only has been set-up for September 28.
Mothers who want to improve their confidence on the roads and learn how to cycle safely with their children are invited to meet at Alexandra Junior School in Cator Road, Sydenham at 9am.
For more information on the Cutty Sark ride, call Anthony Austin on 07740 434 078 or email austin970@btinternet.com.
Call Charles Potter on 07951 780869 for more information on the Women's Cycle Ride.
