HUNDREDS of holidaymakers were stuck in the Channel Tunnel for around six hours when a train broke down.
Around 500 passengers were trapped in sweltering heat on Tuesday evening while they waited for the faulty train to be towed away.
It is thought the train suffered a power failure.
