THAMESMEAD Town expect a big crowd for the opening day of the season on August 15 when they entertain last season's FA Vase semi-finalists Lowestoft Town.
The Mead then travel to across the Thames to face Romford the following Tuesday.
Thamesmead will also enjoy a Boxing Day and New Year's local derby this coming season against friends and rivals VCD. Athletic, who gained promotion to the Ryman League as Champions of the Kent League in 2008/09.
