A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD has beaten off competition from more than 70 other children and created a winning poster design for a summer fete.
Hasan Kahn, a pupil at Perry Hall Primary School in Orpington, designed his poster for the Orpington Summer Fete, scheduled for July 3 - 5.
Hasan’s poster will now be reproduced and put on display around the town to promote the fete.
The youngster’s colourful design means he wins a games console and £250 of art equipment for his school, provided by the town’s Walnuts shopping centre.
Centre manager Martin Price said: “We had a fantastic response to our competition and we would like to thank all the children for taking part and putting so much effort into their designs.”
Hasan's art teacher June Drake added: “The funds will be put towards exciting new art projects.”
