VIEW pictures of dozens of gorgeous models and vote for your favourite in News Shopper’s Wow Factor contest.
With readers’ help, we are searching for the most gorgeous girl and handsome hunk in south-east London and north Kent.
To achieve this we are putting pictures of lots of fine looking young people online after they have all had a free photo shoot with Nigel Barrett Photography in Bexleyheath.
Photos are split into girls’ and boys’ galleries, with website visitors being asked to cast an eye over the images and decide who they think is the best looking.
The annual beauty contest is now in full swing, and hundreds of votes have already been cast.
Votes will be counted at the end of June and the two most popular people in each category will be declared the first winners.
This will be one more monthly winner in each category at the end of July, August and September.
The 10 finalists will be sent on a special model training day ahead of the Wow Factor final at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley on October 8.
In front of an audience, the finalists will take part in a catwalk fashion show, modelling a variety of outfits.
A panel of judges will choose one girl and one boy to be the overall Wow Factor champions for 2009.
The finalists will all win £100 to spend at Nigel Barrett Photography.
The two overall winners will each get £500 of hair styling and products from Graham Webb International.
In addition, the two overall winners will feature in a future Glades advertising campaign.
So, to help your favourite on his or her way to winning these great prizes and achieving Wow Factor glory, go to the girls’ gallery or boys’ photos and choose who you want to see in the final.
Meanwhile, the contest is still open for you to enter if you think you have the Wow Factor.
The main requirements for entering are that you are aged between 16 and 26 and you live somewhere in News Shopper’s area.
And obviously you must have the looks worthy of winning the competition!
