AT OUR June meeting Mary Clarke spoke to us about Denman College.
Denman is the WI's adult education college. It is a beautiful Goergian building in 17 acres and members and non-members can attend both day and residential courses.
The choice of courses is extensive and Mary showed us some of the facilities Denman provides.
Three members spoke about their own experiences at Denman and all were enthusiastic about what they had learnt and the friendly atmosphere which prevails there.
The next meeting is on July 14 when Philip Pretty will offer a nature quiz.
The club meets at the Memorial Hall in Lewis Road at 7.30pm.
Visitors are always welcome.
