OFF to the wilds of Mongolia next month are Sidcup brothers Iain and Dan Bull.
They will one of 300 teams hoping to drive across Europe and Russia to Mongolia, in the Mongol Rally, raising cash for charity.
Iain, 34, an assistant buildings facility manager from The Park and his younger brother Dan, 32, from Lansdown Road, who manages billboard installations, have each taken four weeks off work, but say they have no idea how long the journey will take.
Iain said: “We have never done anything like this before.
“Dan heard something about it on the radio and we looked it up on the internet and decided to do it.”
All the drivers will set off from Goodwood together and meet at the first checkpoint in Czechoslovakia.
From there they are on their own and must choose their own route to the Mongolian capital, Ulaan Bataar.
The rally is affiliated to three charities and the brothers have chosen the Cristina Noble Children’s Foundation.
Iain said: “It is a challenge and we feel a bit apprehensive at the moment because we don’t know what to expect.”
