A CAR passenger is seriously ill in hospital after a crash in Biggin Hill.

The man was travelling in a black Vauxhall Corsa when it was in collision with a silver Ford Ka in Main Road.

He was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, shortly after the accident which happened at around 1.30pm yesterday (June 3).

One of the drivers was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, with minor injuries.

But it is not yet clear whether this person was driving the Corsa or the Ka.

Main Road was closed from the junction of St Winifred’s Road to near the Fox and Hounds pub until 8pm last night.
