A RESIDENTS’ association will quiz council officers about road safety at an open meeting later this month.
Shortlands Residents’ Association has invited Bromley Council’s road safety officer Derrick Holmes and highways project engineer Naeem Ahad to talk about speed limits, road signs and potholes.
The meeting at St Mary’s Hall in St Mary’s Avenue will start at 8.15pm on June 17.
The association’s chairman Mark Dempsey said: “The safety of our local roads is one of those issues always at the top of the agenda whenever we talk to local residents.
“This is an opportunity put questions directly to the decision-makers and I am sure our members will have plenty of points to put to the borough officers at the meeting, which is likely to be pretty lively!”
All residents are invited to attend the meeting.
