SEVEN secondary schools from across the borough helped entertain audiences with an evening of dance.
Pupils from Biggin Hill’s Charles Darwin School, Darrick Wood School in Orpington and Ravensbourne School in Bromley all attended Kemnal Technology College in Sidcup on May 21.
They were joined by pupils from Bullers Wood School in Chislehurst, Hayes School, and Beckenham’s Langley Park School for Girls at the Step Into Dance show.
Each school performed their own dance, produced and choreographed under the guidance of the Royal Academy of Dance.
A spokesman for the academy said: “The performances were testimony of weeks of hard work from everyone involved and the end result was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.”
Step Into Dance was the result of a partnership between the Jack Petchey Foundation charity and the Royal Academy of Dance.
