FIREFIGHTERS are still working at a fire in Luddesdown which has been burning for four days.

They were called to the scene near the Golden Lion pub, Luddesdown Road, on Friday evening and have been working in shifts since then to tackle the scrubland blaze.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service says they are doing a controlled burn on the site which is around 50m by 20m.

Two fire engines are expected to be there for the next few days.
