DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a teenager was assaulted in a pub toilet in Lee.

The 16-year-old boy was attacked by a number of people and suffered facial injuries during the incident at the Dirty South in Lee High Road.

He was taken to a south London hospital and has since been discharged.

Police believe there may have been a disagreement in the main bar area before the assault in the toilet and that the two incidents on April 14 may be related.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Becky Pitcher, from Lewisham CID, said: “There were a number of people in the Dirty South at the time of this incident and I would like to hear from anyone who may have information about this assault such as who was involved and how it started.

"The injuries the young man has suffered could have been a lot worse and anyone who may have any information should call on 0208 284 8460 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."
