A MENTAL health trust has teamed up with Tate Britain to help under pressure carers.
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust will host a conference with the museum, showcasing the work the trust carried out for carers of people with mental health problems in Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich.
Therapy sessions using art from Tate Britain were recorded and will be displayed on the Tate’s Wall of Voices.
Visitors can hear audio commentary by carers describing how the images and artwork affect them.
A spokesman for the trust said: “With one in four people suffering a mental health problem of some kind in their lifetime, there’s a lot of people out there that need care. And eventually those carers will need help and support as well.”
The conference is scheduled for May 11.
