A SAUSAGE seller voted the top independent business in his borough has been congratulated by the Mayor of Lewisham.
David Rundel, who runs ‘The Sausage Man’ stall by the Clock Tower in Lewisham town centre, was announced the winner of Lewisham’s annual Who Do You Love? competition on March 6.
The Lewisham Council-run competition, now in its fifth year, saw Japanese restaurant Sapporo Ichiban in Winslade Way, Catford, finish in second place.
Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock came down to Mr Rundel’s stall last Thursday (April 2) to try one of his popular hot dogs and present him with a certificate.
