Children at Wickham Common Primary School raised almost £420
BRIGHTLY dressed congaing children in West Wickham raised almost £420 for Comic Relief.
The pupils at Wickham Common Primary School, Gates Green Road, paid £1 each to come to school wearing clothes which were predominantly red rather than their usual school uniform on Friday (March 13).
At afternoon break the children danced to music before taking part in a whole school conga.
Head teacher Sheila Taplin said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and their contributions made them aware of children who are not as fortunate as themselves.”
