GRAVESEND: Firefighters tackle car fire
A 4x4 was destroyed by fire in Gravesend this morning (March 12).
The interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero was well alight by the time firefighters arrived at the scene in Seymour Road at 12.22am.
They managed to put out the fire before it spread to the car’s engine compartment but it is believed to be an insurance write off.
The crew from Thames-side fire station took around 20 minutes to deal with the incident.
