YOUNGSTERS have been treated to a visit by best-selling author.
Sherry Ashworth, author of award-winning novels Paralysed and Blinded by the Light visited Blackheath High School, in Vanbrugh Park, Blackheath, to celebrate World Book Day last Thursday.
To a crowd of students aged 11 to 16, Ms Ashworth spoke about writing style and how to think of story ideas.
She also ran a series of workshops and signed copies of her books.
Ms Ashworth said: “The workshops were great fun. My readers matter to me enormously, and I get a huge buzz out of meeting them.”
