A THEATRE group is appealing to former members to attend its open day celebrating more than 40-years of performing.
Swanley Players, based at Mabel Road in Hextable, will reminisce over its history via onstage and computer presentations at Five Wents Hall in Swanley Lane this Saturday (March 21).
It was established in 1967 and since then 445 people have taken part in 83 productions either onstage or behind the scenes at Five Wents Hall and Christ Church Swanley in Kingswood Avenue.
Chairman David Wells said: “We have invited those with whom we have contacts, but there are many who we have lost contact with and would like to see again, so we ask them to get in touch and come to the open day.”
