Cotmandene Community Resource Centre has just announced its new programme for February and March 2009. The Centre, based in Cotmandene Crescent, St. Paul’s Cray, offers a range of services, meeting groups and courses for local people of all ages and walks of life. Its variety of activities is impressive and includes a job club, support for people with mental health issues, computer workshops, a money management course and Age Concern coffee mornings.

The frequency of these services, meeting groups and courses that are on offer does vary; some are weekly while others are monthly. Appointments and bookings may also be necessary but the Centre will advise if this is the case when you contact them.

For those mums and dads who would like to attend a course but have very young children and no one to look after them, check with the centre to find out if a crèche will be available. And if you are feeling the pinch in this economic downturn, the good news is all the courses are free.

Full details are available from the Centre by ringing 020 8402 0123, emailing ccrc@bromley.gov.uk or by simply popping into the Centre when you are next in Cotmandene Crescent. Their opening hours are 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday. The Centre is closed on Thursday‘s.

This is your local Community Resource Centre for you and your community. Why don’t you ‘pop in’ by phone, by email or on foot to see if they can help you?
