A GROUP of volunteers are looking for new members to help at events across the county.
The Kent eVent team, which is supported by Kent County Council, provides volunteers for community, sport and cultural events across the county.
It is looking for new members, who would not have to make a permanent commitment and would only have to take part in the events that interest them.
A spokesman said: “People can volunteer at a wide range of exciting events. The flexibility of the scheme allows people to get involved and get a taste of volunteering without making a regular commitment.”
The team currently has around 200 members and hopes to have 2,500 by 2012 to help with Olympics related activities in Kent.
