YOUNGSTERS have celebrated the life of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Pupils at Ashgrove School, Widmore Road, Bromley, have been studying his life and works to mark the 250th anniversary of his birth.
The 22 Year 6 children, aged 10 and 11, read and sang some of his well known verse and song including Auld Lang Syne and My Luve is Like a Red.
They dressed up in Tartan dress and also took part in some Scottish dancing.
But the celebration was not complete without a taste of haggis.
Headteacher Dr Patricia Ash said: “I think the best part was tasting haggis for the first time, which they all thoroughly enjoyed.”
