A 46-YEAR-OLD man believed to be retired footballer Tony Cascarino has been arrested on suspicion of committing an assault causing actual bodily harm.
The man was arrested after police were called to an address in Chislehurst at 6pm on Saturday (December 13) .
He has been bailed to return to Bromley police station on January 21.
Mr Cascarino was born in St Paul’s Cray and played for Gillingham, Millwall and Chelsea as well as the Republic of Ireland.
The striker retired from the game in 2000 after a six-year spell in France.
He currently works as a football columnist and a TV pundit.
