AWESOME foursome JLS are through to the grand final of TV talent contest The X Factor and hope to make history as the first band to win.

The boyband are competing against two other remaining acts in the show.

On Saturday night’s show (December 6) judge Simon Cowell showered praise on the four singers and predicted they might win the competition.

Eldest of the band members 23-year-old Marvin Humes, of Herbert Road, Woolwich, said: “We know we can go all the way now and we’re going to give it our all.

“This has been the best 10 weeks of our lives. We are so thankful to everyone who voted for us and we could make history by being the first group to win The X Factor.”

Saturday night’s show will see the band singing three songs, including a duet with a surprise pop star.

Watch JLS perform live again on ITV1, Saturday, at 7.10pm.
