People who receive benefits are being reminded they could qualify for free home insulation under a Government-funded scheme. Those in receipt of an income or disability benefit, of any age, who rent or own their homes, may also qualify for heating improvements, under the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme. Those aged over 60 may qualify for free central heating installation. For information on the insulation offers call the grants helpline on 0800 952 1555.
