The details of my challenge have been banged out.

At noon on Tuesday December 2 I will be treated to a pathetically mild Chicken Korma at Orpington's Bengal Diners, before scoffing a Lamb Shank at the Madhuwan in Bromley later that day.

The following lunchtime I will then attempt to eat the hottest curry ever prepared by the head chef of Chislehurst's Dhaba restaurant - A Chicken Chilli Fry.

Three curries in 24 hours.
