PUPILS had a chance to work with architects as part of Big Arts Week.

The national initiative gave youngsters at Thomas Tallis Secondary School, Kidbrooke, the opportunity to work with Greenwich-based architects BPTW.

Architects volunteered to spend the day with Year 9 students, who learned more about the design process, and worked side by side on building models from recycled materials.

Big Arts Week, now in its second year, aims to increase arts awareness and offer youngsters a sense of achievement.
