A MAJOR road-widening scheme to install a bus lane is under way.
Transport bosses have promised more reliable bus services through St Mary Cray once the £800,000 project is complete.
Cray Avenue is being resurfaced, a pelican crossing will be installed and there are plans to improve street lighting.
The work is due to finish in the autumn.
