Tennis player Christopher Doerr accused of rape in America

A 20-YEAR-OLD tennis player from Bromley has been arrested in America on suspicion of rape.
Christopher Richard Doerr is accused of assaulting a 20-year-old woman at his apartment in Starkville, Mississippi, during a party on Saturday night (November 15).
He has also been accused of supplying beer to a minor.
The Hattiesburg American paper reports that Doerr was arrested on Monday (November 17) and was still in custody yesterday.
Doerr is a tennis player at Mississippi State University (MSU).
Officials from MSU’s athletic department say they cannot comment on Doerr’s status while the investigation continues.
