STUDENT FUN DAY: End of term celebrations will be marked with a fun day for students and staff at North West Kent College, in Oakfield Lane, Dartford, tomorrow. Stalls and a barbecue will compliment a charity five-aside football tournament in memory of IT lecturer Bill Moss, who died last year.

MORE THAN A PAPER ROUND: One of the country’s largest paper merchants is setting up in Crossways Business Park, Dartford, creating around 20 jobs. Antalis hopes work on its new 50,000 sq ft warehouse will be completed in time to start operations at the end of the year.

YOUR ROUND: It is beers all round at Dartford Beer Festival on July 11, 12 and 13. The event, to take place in Central Park, runs from 11am to 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is family day, includes a birds of prey display and runs from noon to 10pm.

COFFEE MORNING: A coffee morning with a bring-and-buy summer fruits theme will be held in Jubilee Hall, Main Road, Longfield, on July 12. Money raised will go towards the nearby St Mary Magdalene Church.
