A Greenwich school has received an award for working to improve reading, writing, speaking and mathematics.
Boxgrove School, in Abbey Wood, got a Quality Mark after it successfully met all 10 tests for it. This included planning and assessing pupils’ performance in all areas and getting parents involved in improving standards.
Pupils were presented with bookmarks, stickers and badges to mark their achievement.
Greenwich Council member for education Councillor David Grant said: “All the staff, governors and parents should be very proud of the effort and hard work they have put in.”
