PLANS FOR MORE HOUSING: An application has been submitted to Dartford Council to build a four-storey detached building for nine two-bedroom flats in Station Road, Greenhithe. The plan includes access to a new car park with 12 spaces. The application was received on June 12.
DOCTOR ON CALL: Dartford MP Dr Howard Stoate will be swapping his medical for his constituency surgery twice in July. Constituents can speak with Dr Stoate about matters of concern at Dartford Citizens Advice Bureau in Essex Road from 7.30 to 9pm on July 4, and Southfleet Village Hall, Dale Road, from 9.30 to 11.30am on July 19.
TREAD THE BOARDS: Even though rehearsals started in May, anyone wishing to sing or act in the Let the Tree Sing production is welcome. Seven to 13-year-olds who want to get involved can drop in to rehearsals at the community centre in Cedar Road on Mondays from 4.15 to 5.15pm. Call 07990 514281.
