THE London bound carriageway of the A2 in Eltham is open again after a collision closed the road for seven hours.
Traffic is still backed up as the congestion begins to clear.
The incident involving a motorcycle happened near the Eltham Tunnel at about 5.30am this morning (October 17).
A 38-year-old man was treated at the scene by London Ambulance crews before being taken to Kings College Hospital. The man's injuries are thought to be serious.
