POLICE were called to one of Bexley's premier open spaces this morning after a member of the public discovered a man's body.
Part of Lesnes Abbey Woods in Abbey Wood, near the ancient abbey ruins, was cordoned off while the emergency services attended the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead.
Police say they are not treating his death as suspicious.
