FRIENDS and family of murdered teenager Jimmy Mizen are holding a fundraising concert in his memory.

The 16-year-old from Lee died on May 10 after he was attacked with a shard of glass at a bakery near his home.

Jimmy's older brother Tommy's band will headline the show at the Astoria 2 in central London tonight (October 11).

The band, called Tested Material will end the night with a song, called Sparkle, which also the name of the gig.

Profits from the event will be added to a fund started in Jimmy's memory to buy minibuses to help youth organisations.

Doors open at 6pm and tickets costing £10 each will be available to buy on the door.

  • Jake Fahri, 19, from Lee pleaded not guilty to Jimmy Mizen’s murder last month and was remanded to custody until March 11 next year.
