MURDER CHARGE: Three teenage boys have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 30-year-old man outside a Lewisham supermarket. The 15-year-olds appeared before Camberwell Green Youth Court on March 5 charged with the murder of Scott Osborne outside Tesco, in Lewisham Road, on November 30 last year. The teenagers were remanded on conditional bail to appear at the Old Bailey today.

TRANSPORT PROBLEMS?: A conference on public transport issues will be held on Saturday to give residents the chance to question transport chiefs on the DLR Woolwich extension, the proposed Crossrail project, service improvements and other transport issues. The conference will take place from 9.30am to 1pm at the Royal Arsenal Museum. Call 020 8317 8687.

SCHOOL CLOSURE: Residents' responses to proposals to close Abbey Wood School must be received by Greenwich Council by Friday. The council plans to close the school, in Eynsham Drive, and expand St Paul's Catholic School, in Wickham Lane, into a Catholic City Academy. The proposals are on display in libraries.
