THERE was minor damage to a train carrying Charlton Athletic supporters to last night's game against Crystal Palace.
But despite police concerns ahead of the game there were no reports of serious disorder and no arrests.
British Transport Police officers were out in force and more than 15,000 fans attended the match which Palace won with a 63rd minute goal from on-loan striker Craig Beattie.
A BTP spokesman said officers patrolled key transport hubs to monitor fans and ensure there was no trouble.
