MODEL train enthusiasts flocked to Bexley to view the latest layouts at Erith Model Railway Society's annual show.

Held in Freemantle Hall in Bexley Village High Street, the show was a collaboration with Kent Garden Railways.

Two of the large train layouts, Foxley Green and Herringsham, were exhibiting for the first time while the Farm View 2 layout has undergone a major rebuilt since it was last exhibited.

There was a chance for enthusiasts to buy new and second-hand parts and accessories.

The society, which has been going for more than 40 years, meets weekly at its Erith headquarters.

Members work on models and layouts, test equipment and hold video shows, a modelling contest and lots of social events.
