A HELICOPTER made an appearance at a school for spectators to view its capabilities.
Cadets from the Biggin Hill Squadron Air Training Corps were shown how the Met Police Service helicopter is operated and got a chance to speak to the pilot and crew about crime-fighting equipment onboard.
The Met chopper was invited to Hayes School, West Common Road, Hayes before a meeting of the Bromley Community Engagement Forum (BCEF)- a body that allows the public to scrutinise the authorities on safety issues.
BCEF chairman Howard Clark said: "The MPS Helicopter was asked to attend to highlighted one of the excellent resources that the Bromley police has to support them in fighting crime.
"Enabling people to see the helicopter at first hand brought the chance to ask questions."
The next meeting is on November 10 at Bromley Civic Centre.
