RESIDENTS got to show off their handiwork at the first-ever Celebrate Bromley awards.
Organised by Bromley Council, the competition recognises the work residents, businesses and community groups do to improve the borough's green spaces.
The event offered three categories including the Sustainable Living award for allotments and the People for Parks award, recognising the work of voluntary groups.
A Beautiful Bromley category recognised the work of gardeners and artists.
A council spokesman said: "Celebrate Bromley brings together many of the aspects Bromley is famous for, people working together to improve the environment for people, for parks, for allotments and for future generations.
"Many of the exhibitors and winners expressed this essence in painting, poetry and photography and in their flower, vegetable and musical presentations."
The three-day exhibition and awards event was held at Kevington Hall, Crockenhill Road, Orpington.
