A COUPLE have celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.
Ronald and Dorothy Cunningham, of Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley, celebrated being married for 60 years on September 18.
Father-of-two Mr Cunningham says on the day of their anniversary their daughter, Susie Goldberg, cooked them a meal.
The couple also enjoyed a family meal at the Rowhill Grange Hotel and Spa in Hextable as part of their celebrations.
Cunningham said: "I owe our long marriage to my wife's good temper. She is very calm."
The couple met in 1946 at a Christmas dance in a village hall in Welling.
Retired office worker Mrs Cunningham, 82, said: "I think a marriage is about give and take and helping each other."
