THE third in a series of Question Time-style open forums is being held in Welling tonight.
Meetings, one in each area of the borough, have been organised in the wake of the killing of teenage actor Rob Knox outside the Metro Bar in Station Road, Sidcup, in May.
Organised by Bexley Community Safety Partnership, the meetings are a chance for the public to question representatives from the police, Bexley Council, the fire brigade, Probation Service, Bexley Care Trust, Greater London Authority and Bexley Community Policing Engagement Group about crime and disorder in the borough.
So far meetings have been held in Erith and Bexleyheath.
Council cabinet member for community safety Councillor Katie Perrior said: "The panel has been able to hear directly about residents' concerns and we have been able to listen and respond accordingly."
She added: "It is right residents get to question councillors and police officers."
The Welling meeting will be held at Welling School, in Elsa Road, from 7pm to 9pm.
A meeting will also be held at the Innovation Centre in Veridion Way, off Yarnton Way, Thamesmead, from 7pm to 9pm on October 8.
