ARMED police were called after a man was stabbed and a child was kidnapped.
The 21-year-old stab victim was taken to hospital by his family after the incident in Manor Drive, Hartley.
He is not thought to be seriously injured.
The kidnapped child was taken by a man and then returned unharmed a short time later.
Police are trying to find the man who took the child because they want to speak to him in connection with the stabbing.
The disturbance took place at around 8.15pm on Tuesday (September 23) and everyone involved is known to each other.
