YEAR 12 students in Chislehurst started the year with a motivational talk from a star of The Apprentice.
The team building event, organised by Bromley Education Business Partnership (BEBP) at Beaverwood School for Girls, Chislehurst, included a talk from Shazia Wahab - who was a finalist on the BBC TV show.
The BEBP - which works with the local community and business volunteers - is running a series of similar events at schools in the borough.
BEBP Operations Manager, Lesley Holland said: "We work closely with Bromley schools in delivering a valuable learning experience for all students.
"This event is one of the many experiences we can offer to Bromley pupils in a number of areas, including work experience placements, mentoring and business enterprise".
Ms Wahab was fired by Sir Alan Sugar, in week two of the last series - after the contenders attempted the challenge of running a laundry business - but said she had no regrets about appearing on the show.
The 36-year-old business woman said: "I was delighted to be asked to speak at this event.
"My key message for the girls is to work hard, as nothing is impossible and they should never give up."
