FEW of us have much money to throw around these days.

So when we take the plunge and decide to buy something new, we have to be extra careful we are buying the right product.

Nothing is worse than splashing the cash only to find what you've bought is a complete waste of money.

It's vital that you check something out before you get to the checkout.

So News Shopper is here to help.

We have launched a new Check Out product review section to help you make the right decisions on what to buy and what to avoid.

Some of the reviews will be written by us based on things we've bought and tried or had sent to us here at Shopper HQ.

But we also want you to review products you've bought. From hi-tech electrical items and gadgets to household goods and everyday products from the supermarket - buy it, then try it and review it.

Your words of wisdom could be the difference between someone being pleased with their purchase or making an expensive mistake.

Positive or negative, you can review anything you have bought in a shop or online.

Rate or hate - can you recommend your product to other consumers or should people steer clear of it?

Give your product a score from 1 to 5 - 1 being a waste of money and 5 being a great buy.
