1992 - At the MTV Awards, Chris Novoselic of Nirvana was knocked unconscious by his own guitar. He had thrown it in the air and failed to take cover.

1998 - The Monicagate files arrived in Congress.

2000 - C&A withdrew 60,000 children's t-shirts that had a website address printed on the front, after it was found that it was a link to a hardcore gay porn site.

2001 - Bob the Builder secured his second number one single with his version of the hit Mambo Number 5.
